A broken teacup, given a second bloom.
A shard of a vintage cup, still painted with soft pink roses, is cradled in a lacy copper setting like a keepsake you can wear. Below it falls a tassel of copper chains with a single coral-pink glass bead that catches the light. It's a little piece of someone's tea time, rescued and reborn.
I set the shard in copper by hand and made the glass bead myself in my Massachusetts studio, Sacred Petals Art Studio. Every shard is different, so this piece is truly one of a kind.
