Sacred Petals Art is a small handmade studio run by me, Sofia Gagua, in Massachusetts, USA. I respect your privacy and only collect what I need to make and send your order and keep in touch if you'd like me to. This policy explains what I collect, why, and your choices.

What I collect

  • When you order: your name, email address, shipping and billing address, phone number (if you give it), and what you bought. Payment details are entered directly with Squarespace's payment processors (such as Stripe or PayPal). I never see or store your full card number.

  • When you join my newsletter: your email address (and name, if you give it).

  • When you contact me: your name, email, and whatever you write in your message.

  • For Kahu Memorial orders: details you share about your pet.

  • When you browse: Squarespace automatically collects basic analytics like pages visited, device and browser type, approximate location, and how you found the site, using cookies and similar tools.

Why I use it

  • To process, make, ship, and support your order, and handle returns.

  • To answer your messages.

  • To send my newsletter, only if you've signed up.

  • To understand how people use the site so I can improve it.

  • To meet legal and tax requirements.

Who I share it with

I never sell or rent your personal information. I share it only with the services that help me run the shop, and only as needed:

  • Squarespace, which hosts the site, checkout, forms, newsletter, and analytics.

  • Payment processors (such as Stripe or PayPal) to take your payment securely.

  • Shipping carriers such as USPS to deliver your order.

  • Etsy, for orders you place in my Etsy shop (Etsy's own privacy policy also applies there).

  • Google and Pinterest, if connected, for site analytics and to show my products in shopping listings. They may use cookies to measure visits.

  • Authorities, if the law requires it.

Each of these services handles data under its own privacy policy.

Cookies

The site uses cookies to make checkout work, remember your cart, and measure traffic. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though some parts of the site (like the cart) may not work properly without them.

Emails and unsubscribing

You can unsubscribe from my newsletter at any time using the link at the bottom of any email. I'll still send emails about orders you place (like confirmations and shipping updates).

Keeping your information safe

Your information is stored with trusted providers that use industry-standard security. No system is perfect, but I take care to protect your details and keep only what I need, for as long as I need it for orders, records, and legal requirements.

Your choices and requests

You can ask to see, correct, or delete the personal information I hold about you, or ask any question about your data. Just reach out through the Get in Touch page and I'll respond as soon as I can. Some order records may need to be kept for tax and legal reasons.

Children's privacy

This site is not meant for children under 13, and I don't knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has shared information with me, please contact me and I'll delete it.

Changes to this policy

I may update this policy from time to time. I'll post any changes here with a new effective date.
