Some maps are drawn on paper.
Others are written in stone.
This one was assembled from fragments that seem to belong to different worlds—raw crystal formations, sculptural lampworked glass, weathered copper, and luminous organic forms suspended along a hand-shaped copper path.
Every link is individually formed by hand, allowing the necklace to move like a living vine while each element tells its own story. Clear glass captures tiny mineral-like inclusions and shifting textures reminiscent of ancient ice, while soft ivory, lavender, and warm earth tones echo weathered rock, fossilized shells, and distant coastlines.
Near the center rests a raw crystal wrapped in flowing copper, followed by a suspended natural stone that anchors the composition like a discovered relic pulled from an archaeological expedition.
The necklace has no repeating pattern. It invites the eye to wander, discovering new details each time it is worn.
Created as a wearable sculpture, this piece belongs to the Interstellar Lithic Collection—a series inspired by geology, exploration, imagined civilizations, and the quiet beauty of materials shaped by time.
Each Sacred Petals Art Studio creation is handmade in Massachusetts and signed with my maker's mark.
