A piece of the reef, shaped by hand in glass.
Soft coral-pink branches, sculpted from glass with tiny bubbles like living polyps, hang from a swirl of hand-shaped brass wire. Above them sits a speckled white glass bead like a sun-bleached shell, with a little coral rondelle and a sparkling crystal drop swinging below. Two layered antique brass bead chains frame it all, for a relaxed, beachy layered look.
I made the coral and beads by hand from glass in my Massachusetts studio, Sacred Petals Art Studio, and shaped the brass wire around them myself, so this piece is one of a kind.
