An autumn afternoon, fused into glass.
Real copper leaves, fired to deep plum and bronze, rest in milky white glass beside a bold ribbon of orange. Shimmering green aventurine glass, touches of red and yellow, and a flash of dichroic glass that shifts from gold to pink catch the light with every move.
I fuse each piece by hand in the kiln in my Massachusetts studio, so no two are ever alike. Each one is signed with my initials, SG, on the back of the glass and finished with my engraved SG signature charm at the clasp.
