FORGED Pendant - Conductive Talisman
Powerful. Strong. Memorable.
FORGED Pendant is a handcrafted copper talisman inspired by the transformative power of fire, pressure, and perseverance.
Created from hand-worked copper, the pendant features a hammered surface rich with texture and warm gradients of red, amber, and copper tones. The word FORGED is stamped into the metal as a reminder that strength is not something we are born with—it is something shaped through experience.
The elongated form and minimalist design make this piece suitable for everyday wear and easily worn by both women and men. Each pendant develops its own character through the handmade process, ensuring that no two are exactly alike.
Handcrafted in Massachusetts by artist Sofia Gagua of Sacred Petals Art Studio.
Materials:
• Handcrafted copper pendant
• Patina finish
• Copper-tone chain
The pendant shown is the only one currently available. Additional pendants may be created by request. Due to the handmade process and the natural evolution of copper patinas, each piece will possess its own unique character.
The word FORGED is not stamped using modern lettering tools. It is transferred directly from the surface of a vintage forged-steel wrench, allowing the original industrial marking to leave its impression in the copper. This process gives each pendant a unique connection to the history of the tool from which it originated.
By transferring that mark directly into copper, the pendant carries a trace of the object's original purpose while taking on a new meaning as a personal talisman.
Artist's Note
The first Forged pendant began as an accident. While working with copper, I noticed the word FORGED stamped into the handle of an old wrench in my basement. Curious, I placed the metal over the marking and struck it with a hammer. The word emerged from the copper, and the first talisman was born.
A wrench is a tool.
Tools are made to build things.
People are shaped by experience.
The word migrates from tool → pendant → person.
I find this to be a surprisingly beautiful chain of meaning.
