Named after the first known interstellar object observed passing through our solar system, Oumuamua explores the idea of a traveler between worlds.
Handmade glass forms, natural stone, and hand-worked copper come together as if gathered during a long journey through time and space. Organic textures, weathered surfaces, and irregular forms evoke an ancient relic—something discovered rather than manufactured.
Part celestial artifact, part shoreline treasure, Oumuamua invites the viewer to imagine the stories carried by objects that have traveled unimaginable distances before finally coming to rest.
Each glass bead was individually formed in the flame and intentionally left organic and irregular. The copper chain was hand-constructed link by link, creating a flowing structure reminiscent of roots, vines, or drifting seaweed. At the center hangs a natural stone wrapped in copper, surrounded by a gathering of glass forms that resemble shells, seeds, fossils, and fragments washed ashore.
No molds were used, and no two elements can ever be reproduced exactly. This piece is entirely one of a kind.
